Roosevelt Mission gave out funds to help with the following: 1. Overdue Rent (Eviction Notice needed) 2. Overdue Utilities Bill (Disconnect Notice needed) 3. Rent or Utilities Deposit. You will be required to attend a class held every Friday from 8am-10am on financial management. Bring with you your bill, notice or landlord/utilities company number (in case of deposit). After this you will be able to apply for help and we only pay after you have raised the rest of the owed amount. Because of reduction in funding we can no longer do this program. The State of Indiana cut all funding for this program and we will not be able to help anymore. If we receive additional funding from the Christian Community we will start this program up again. We average $4,000 a year in help to those in need in the past. Update: We have turned away at least 12 people in October alone. One was a family of three that had just left a abusive husband to protect her kids |
